31-Capture Everything

Capture Everything

When I decided to strap on my camera and carry it with me on my dog-walks, I made a commitment to the universe to pay attention and shoot everything that might be something worth sharing. In the days of film, this wouldn't have been practical. With digital cameras, it is more than practical it is encouraged. Often, my best photos are those I didn't think much of when I took them. They were a result of the simple choice to pull out the pocket-sized Hollywood studio and press a button. This particular shot was taken at the end of a walk as an afterthought but has become one of the most popular images on my tumblr page (jaxoncohen.tumblr.com). It is a perfect example of why I capture everything.
