01-The Boston Marathon 2013.

Whether domestic or foreign, events like the Boston Marathon Bombing hypnotize the mind but hollow the heart. The emptiness is impossible to turn away from. While we watch, we wonder: what haunting song calls to those so willing to purchase such a painful message at such a steep price? But does the origin matter as much as the consequences? What if the only thing that matters in life is the value and intention of our actions? What if in death the only way to earn the privilege of sharing an eternal existence of love with others is to account for our mortal lives? If we will not personally account for every ripple of reality we intentionally create through our actions, is it possible we might disappear into isolated fantasy and neither continue in this reality nor the next? What if the only way to see their mothers after death is for those responsible to account for every rupturing wave of pain cast upon these Boston streets?
